Payment Options & Cancellation Policy
CREDIT CARDS - When paying by credit card
(We accept: Visa,
MasterCard, and Discover):
- Full week reservations made
5 weeks or more in
advance require 1/2 the total amount be paid at the time the reservation
(Reservations will not be confirmed until
payment is received). The remaining 1/2 is due 14 days before check-in.
- Reservations made less than
5 weeks in advance
require the total amount be paid at the time the reservation is made.
(Reservations will not be confirmed until payment is received.)
- Credit card companies charge us a
fee each time we bill a card, therefore we will NOT move a charge from one card to another.
Reservations more than 6
weeks in advance paying the
full amount by Check, Cash ,or Money Order may schedule payments as
- $250 is due within 7 days after making the reservation.
(If a check, cash, or Money Order payment is not received within 7 days the
reservation is automatically cancelled.)
- A total of 50%
(Including the 1st $250) is due 6 weeks prior to the check-in date.
(If a check, cash, or Money
Order payment is not received or other arrangements made the reservation is
automatically cancelled with no refund)
- The remaining 1/2 is due 14 days before check-in by check,
cash, or money order.
Reservations may be made 6 weeks
or less in advance and paid
by check require:
- The total amount be paid by check at the time the reservation is made.
(We will hold the reservation for 7 days waiting on a check BUT
reservations will not be confirmed until payment is received.)
- AND as a back up, A valid credit card is authorized for full payment.
(An authorized credit card is not billed to your account but
is pre-approved for later billing if necessary)
Reservations for a HOLIDAY WEEKEND ONLY require FULL
PAYMENT in advance.
We will take WEEKEND ONLY reservations usually no more than 4
weeks in advance. Specific dates will be on the internet.
Reservations for the WEEKEND ONLY involving Holidays or
Special Events are not normally taken in advance.
IN ALL CASES: A
damage deposit (usually $250, higher deposits are required for pets, large groups, and
when requested by the owner) is required when you check-in. This
may be in
the form of a separate check or by signing a credit card authorization
and will not be processed unless to cover extraordinary cleaning fees, garbage
charges, phone charges, or missing or damaged items.
The price you were quoted and
billed includes a reservation fee service charge of $55-$200 (Plus
Tax) depending on the house selected. This fee is not a rental fee but a
separate charge for processing the reservation, credit card fees, etc. In case of cancellation
this fee is not refundable, however, you may apply this fee to a new
reservation within a year of the original. Check payments will be held for 6 weeks to ensure payment clears the
